The stage of follicle transplantation
After obtaining the hair required for transplantation by either of the two methods, it is transplanted one way through

Make very small holes in the affected part
The number of holes ranges from hundreds to thousands of holes depending on the size of the part to be transplanted.
The process takes a relatively long time, ranging from four to six hours
The follicles are transplanted one by one
The operation usually takes place in one session during which a number of follicles are implanted, ranging from two thousand to seven thousand hairs, which is usually sufficient for a person unless his head is completely devoid of hair.

Hair transplant results
After the operation ends, you may be surprised by hair loss in the first stage, before the follicles that were transplanted grow again and hair begins to appear.

The hair covers the area that was transplanted again within a month or two, and within six months the hair grows completely back to its normal length.
The transplanted hair appears as if it is natural, especially if the person follows a healthy diet and takes care of it by applying the necessary medicinal preparations and creams.
Hair can be shaved and styled after six months, just as if it was natural.

Before a hair transplant

Routine medical tests must be done prior to any surgical procedure.
Ask the doctor carefully and make sure he has sufficient knowledge and experience
Ask about the center and the level of healthcare in it, then ask about the techniques that will be used during the operation.
Contact patients who have previously dealt with and performed their operations in the same center, and ask them about the extent of the health center’s care, their treatment of patients, the extent of the success of the operation, and whether or not any complications occurred to them afterward, and do not be deceived by the ad decorations in social media and the media.
Avoid taking aspirin, blood-thinning medications or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory herbs for seven days before the procedure.
In general, you should inform the doctor about any medicinal product you are using before surgery.
Avoid consuming alcoholic beverages at least two days before the operation.
Finally, it is advised not to cut the hair before the operation, so the hair should be left long.

After a hair transplant
Avoid hitting your head with anything.
You should sleep in a semi-upright position on the first night after the operation, and two pillows should be used to lift the head during the first three days after the operation.
Avoid touching your transplanted hair for one to two days after the surgery
If you want to comb your hair, avoid the transplanted area, so that it will not be affected before the new hair grows.
A solution in the form of a spray should be used at home that helps new hairs grow in the transplanted area every half hour for the first day after the operation.
You should see a specialist the next day to remove the bandages.
Stop taking aspirin and alcoholic beverages for three days after surgery.
Stay away from strenuous exercises such as swimming, weight lifting and others for a week after the operation.
You should also avoid using irons and hair dryers for a week or two.
You should also use a new hair brush other than the old one, at least for the first two weeks after the procedure.
Do not take painkillers other than those prescribed by a doctor, as pain-relieving medicines are taken from one tablet every four or six hours when needed.
Antibiotics are also taken by mouth three times a day after eating for two to three days.
The doctor is consulted two days after the operation to wash the hair, then after that, it is washed daily at home with cold water and a light foam using a medicinal shampoo.
You have to avoid direct exposure to sunlight so that the wound does not swell, and you can wear a hat as long as it is loose.
Bleeding in the donor area is considered normal, although its occurrence does not exceed 1% of cases, and in this case a thin layer of gauze is applied and pressed for 10 minutes.
The suture is removed from the donor area after a period of ten days to three weeks, according to the discretion of the treating physician.
